Everyone in the office is sick of me blathering on about 'Vilhelm Hammershøi: The Poetry of Silence' (Royal Academy of Arts, London, until 7 September). I can't help it - the exhibition, mainly of domestic interiors, is brilliant. It has inspired me to look more closely at the everyday world for subject matter, rather than always searching for that 'perfect' scene to paint.
